First of all i havent played it much.
The graphics, audio and music are very good
BUT
The only thing u do is rotate a lazer cannon and shoot at the enemies
Power ups are only 3
Nova, Repair and Recharge.

Is that the only thing u do in the game?
If yes then very little can be done in this game for a game.

In my vision the recommended stuff are Graphic, Music and FX
but the MUST is the Gameplay. In the next game add more abilities to the main character so it would be more interesting for play.
add more stuff
I m not feeling very confortable rotating the cannon and shoot but that would be less a problem

5/10 cause it has awesome music, graphic and FX
and +1 for if it is the first game uploaded in newgrounds.

But my suggestions are:
for better cpu
The CPU should calculate on which side are there more balls (Left, Middle, Right)
The CPU should hit not only with the middle but with the left or right sides of the paddle

Else
the graphics are awesome
good specials (think for more)
add some more music (this one is good)

The game is very very cool but
but this are my recommandations:

1. Later in the game i stop getting advanced
I mean between level 30 and 40 i got every upgrade to the max and the only thing i do is use my so much money for repears

2. there must be graphic adjustment all the time in the game cause everything is getting slower in the game

3. there is no Pause button =] or maybe i havent found one ^^

also i will be waiting for CC 2 cause its really addicting but
think for more weapons and more upgrades so we can stay for longer in the game

Damage
for example the damage is ok the way it is but it need more levels

Shooting Rate
the cooldown should be in % also needs more levels
so instead of -0.25 to the coold down it should be A% faster every upgrade
something like lvl1 - 0.5 s, lvl2 - 0.45 s, lvl3 - 0.405 s, lvl4 - 0.3645 s and so, so its 10% faster every next upgrade

Prise of Upgrades
maybe the cost of next upgrade should be 10% high than the current
or in this way lvl1 costs 25, lvl 2 - 35, lvl3 - 45, something like (15 + A x next level)

Revive Turrets
the rebuildng of the helper turrets should NOT cost 750 but more because
turret A - 10 damage, 0.5 cooldown, 200 health
cant cost as much as
Turret B - 50 damage, 0.2 cooldown, 2000 health
So Turret B is 5 times stronger or even MORE than Turret A

so this are my recommendation
and keep the good work dude
